Nain Man Covers Ground in Trek to George River
A Nain man is making great progress on his walking expedition to George River, Quebec.
Noah Nochasak departed Nain on Friday.
We spoke with Noah’s father, Levi Nochasak, who is keeping in contact with Noah by satellite phone once every two days.
Levi says Noah is now 60 kilometres West of Nain, near Kingurik Lake.
Levi is also keeping track of his son’s progress using a ‘SPOT ME’ device.
The device provides pre-programmed email addresses with the location and status of the person using it.
Noah is able to send out a distress signal if he runs into any problems during his expedition.
