Arlene Michelin Will Run As NDP Candidate for Lake Melville
The Newfoundland and Labrador New Democrats have announced their candidate for the Lake Melville district in the upcoming provincial election.
Arlene Michelin will represent the party in the district.
Michelin currently serves as a councilor on the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Town Council.
She also has an extensive list of volunteer work elsewhere including serving as the VP for Central Labrador on the Combined Councils.
Michelin was also named one of 21 Incorporated’s Top 50 Emerging Leaders for Atlantic Canada.
She will face off against Progressive Conservative candidate, Keith Russell.
The Liberal Party is expected to have a candidate in place in Lake Melville by next week.
