Canada Post Employees Back to Work
Canada Post and the Canadian Union Postal Workers are going back to work Monday.
Anick Losier is the Spokesperson for Canada Post.
She says the postal workers have been on strike since June 3.
The Government of Canada passed back to work legislation this weekend which brought an end to the three-week dispute.
Losier says the postal workers will resume their shifts Monday evening.
She says there is a lot of catch-up work to be done and the postal workers will be working hard to sort out the mail and parcels.
Nunatsiavut residents should be getting their long-awaited mail in a couple more days.
She adds that Canada Post expects to have everything sorted out in three weeks time.
