Catching Up With MP Penashue
It’s been a little over two months since MP Peter Penashue made his historical entry into federal politics.
The MP says it’s been an interesting time making his transition into office.
Apart from being elected the first Labrador Innu Member of Parliament, Penashue also made history becoming the first Conservative to take the Labrador seat since 1968.
Penashue was also appointed the Minster of Intergovernmental Affairs later in May.
The role of President of the Privy Council was also given to Labrador’s MP.
Stay tuned to AtjiKangitut to hear Minster Penashue discuss his first couple months in office, his priorities for Labrador and meeting Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
