Liberal Party Wants Your Input in Leader Selection Process

The Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador wants your input as they carry out the process of selecting a new leader.

The party is inviting Liberal supporters from across the province to join them in a virtual telephone town hall.

The town hall will provide the public with an opportunity to hear from the candidates who have entered the race.

Seven people have submitted their names for the leader’s position.

Charles Murphy, Ryan Lane, Kevin Aylward, Rodney Martin, Brad Cabana, Bernard Coffey and Danny Dumaresque are the candidates.

The platform will also give the participants the opportunity to share their priorities, ideas and concerns.

The virtual town hall has already begun and runs for 48-hours.

The Executive Board of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador will then proceed to choose a new party leader.

Those who are interested in taking part in the town hall must be registered before Friday evening at 6 p.m.
