Strike Deadline for Canadian Union of Postal Workers Just Hours Away
Only hours remain until the Canadian Union of Postal Workers possibly hits the picket line.
The union put in its 72-hour strike notice earlier this week.
They will be in a legal position to strike if an agreement isn’t reached by 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
The union and Canada Post are still trying to negotiate an agreement today to avoid a strike.
A disruption in service will be averted if a settlement is reached before the strike deadline.
