Truth and Reconciliation Commission Hearing from ULM Residential School Survivors

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada is hearing from residential school survivors in Upper Lake Melville Tuesday.

The commission is holding a hearing giving survivors the opportunity to share their experiences during their residential school days.

The hearing is being held in preparation for the upcoming Atlantic National Event at the end of October in Halifax.

The commission is hearing from survivors throughout the day at the Mapping the Way Building on Hillcrest Drive.

Hearings are also scheduled for Hopedale on Thursday.
